Dzinziruk vs Konecny on September 30, Czech Republic

According to the World Boxing Organization (WBO) President, Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, the organization's longtime titlist Serhiy Dzinziruk (37-1, 23 KOs), the Ukranian Junior Middleweight Champion, has a set date for his next defense. An interim-fight has also been scheduled and the two winners have to face each other in 90 days.

Valcarcel said "in the 154 pounds division, Serhiy Dzinziruk and Lukas Konecny have an agreement to face on September 30 in Czech Republic. This division has been inactive due to Dzinziruk legal issues with his former promoter. For this reason, WBO approved an interim title fight to be held in Ukraine next July 30 between Zauerbek Baysangurov and Mike Miranda. Winners of both fights (Dzinziruk-Konecny and Baysangurov-Miranda) will have 90 days after September 30 to face each other".

Konecny lost by a hair in their first fight. This should be good, unless Konecny (pronounced "Kohnechnee") has become past prime.

It will be interesting to see how Dzinziruk responds after the brutal beatdown that Sergio gave him.
