| Dzinziruk vs Konecny Mandatory Showdown is Ordered

By Chris LaBate The WBO has ordered their junior middleweight champion Serhiy Dzinziruk (37-, 23KOs) to make a mandatory defense against Lukas Konecny (47-3, 22KOs). Purse bids have been scheduled for 11:00 AM Atlantic Standard Time on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the WBO's main office in Puerto Rico. Dzinziruk is coming off a March knockout loss to middleweight king Sergio Martinez. Since 2006, Konecny has only lost a single fight in his 19 ring appearances during that time - a close twelve round majority decision to Dzinziruk in 2008. Konecny is actually a very solid fighter and his first fight with Dzinziruk could have gone either way,a pretty good fight from what i remember too |

Konecny is MUCH better than you think. Many people thought he was robbed in the first fight with Dzinziruk. |
