The World Boxing Organization has stripped Sergei Dzinziruk (37-1, 23KOs) of his junior middleweight title. Dzinziruk has not made a defense since last May's technical knockout of Daniel Dawson. He fought once in 2011, at middleweight, and was knocked out by WBC champion Sergio Martinez in March. He was scheduled to face mandatory challenger Lukas Konecny (47-3, 22KOs) on September 30, but withdrew with an injury. Interim champion Zaurbek Baysangurov (26-1, 20KOs) has been upgraded to the title status of "full champion."

As it stands, Baysangurov may get pushed into a fight against Konecny - and the WBO has ordered the winner to make a mandatory defense against Dzinziruk within 120-days of their win.
I believe Mike Jones is Pacquiao's mandatory. Bob Arum also promotes him so Arum probably just told him to step aside for now and he'll get his shot eventually. If Jones isn't asking to fight Pac, then the WBO must be okay with it even if he's the mandatory. Plus I don't ...

The guy that just got the strap handed to him is the cat that got knocked out by K-9 Bundrage correct~ he should look in to clearing that that up because even though Bundrage is a champ any real talented guy should handle K-9 with ease.
I like Baysangurov too but Konecny better get a shot against him and not get screwed over here.
Baysangurov-Konecny will be a good fight. Zaurbek is promoted by K-2, Konecny by SES promotions. Dzinziruk has been the victim of bad management, starting with Klau...
