Dulorme vs Abregu Close To Finalized For October 27th
By Ryan Burton
Big plans are in the works for undefeated welterweight prospect Thomas Dulorme (15-0), who faces Yoryi Estrella (10-7) this Saturday in his hometown of Carolina, Puerto Rico. Estrella is a late replacement for Ivan Hernandez who was scratched from the fight because of visa issues.
BoxingScene .com recently reported that Dulorme will make his HBO debut on October 27th and that one of the names mentioned as a possible opponent is Luis Carlos Abregu (32-1, 26KOs) of Argentina. Our sources have now confirmed that the Dulorme-Abregu fight is nearly finalized. Dulorme of course must defeat Estrella and come out of the fight unscathed for the fight to materialize. Abregu's only career loss came against Tim Bradley in July, 2010.
Undefeated Colombian prospect Darley Perez is also likely to appear in the televised co-feature slot against an opponent to be determined. The venue for the fight has not yet been finalized.

I have to admit that some PR prospect boxers are taking on more challenges recently than some of the Mexican ones. ****ing Mikey Garcia needs another tune up instead of stepping up. SMH!!Comment by .:: JSFD26 ::. on 08-30-2012

Would be the first HUGE TEST for Dulorme...both have AMAZING POWER so somebody is going to get KNOCKED OUT for SURE! Abregu is EXTREMELY UNDERRATED IMO, It is no shame in losing to Bradley, he (Bradley) is hard to hit…Comment by cotto#1p4p on 08-30-2012
I would've agreed but for this fight Gonzalez has been training in Denver with Cuban Pedro Diaz and his team, he had the talent and now has the corner and preparation to back him up.Comment by ddangerous on 08-30-2012
