| Dulorme-Abregu, Herrera-Mayfield on Oct. 27, HBO
By Rick Reeno Promoter Gary Shaw has advised BoxingScene.com that his October 27th doubleheader is going to land at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York. HBO will televise. In the main event, welterweight Thomas Dulorme (16-0, 12KOs) will face veteran Carlos Abregu (33-1, 27KOs). Another fight being positioned for the show, says Shaw, is a battle of junior welterweights between Mauricio Herrera (18-2, 7KOs) and Karim Mayfield (16-0-1, 10KOs).
It's not a HUGE step up. Quit trying to hype it up as a great win if Delorme takes it. It's a good step up but not great/huge.
Considering he is only 16 fights and Abregus only loss is to Bradley is a huge step up! |
