Dream Team Joins Forces With Golden Boy Promotions

By Elisinio Castillo,

According to Dream Team, they have no joined forces with Golden Boy Promotions. The two companies will heavily co-promote Cuban featherweight Yoandris Salinas (20-0-1, 13 KOs) and Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz (19 -0, 16 KOs). Salinas is going to face British contender Scott Quigg for the vacant world super bantamweight title of the World Boxing Association (WBA), with a date to be announced.

"It's a great opportunity to Salinas and Ortiz," said the matchmaker Dream Team, Ricardo Rizzo said. "Golden Boy is a powerful promotional company, with many TV dates. This partnership will benefit the careers of both fighters and hopefully we can work with others on the block of Dream Team."

Good news for the Dream Team Cuban stable -- Richar "El Tigre" Abril, Yoandris "El Nino" Salinas, and Luis "El Mercedez" Ortiz... And maybe Arum would give up Guillermo Rigondeaux -- just because he finds difficult to sell him... :fing02:
