MGM GRAND Las Vegas, NV - Legendary promoter Don King is in Sin City for this Saturday's junior middleweight clash between Miguel Cotto and his fighter Ricardo Mayorga.
King told BoxingScene and other members of the media that the one fight he truly wants to see is a rematch between his fighter Felix "Tito" Trinidad and Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins.
"Tito! Tito! The pride of Puerto Rico. If there is one fight I want to see again it is Tito and Bernard Hopkins," King told BoxingScene.
King feels that the fight wasn't fought on an even playing field when The Executioner defeated the Puerto Rican legend via 12th round stoppage shortly after 9/11.
"Hopkins arrived the day of the weigh in. He didn't have to deal with everything that went on with 9/11 while Tito was helping out. I want a rematch on equal terms. Before Tito retires again he needs that rematch!"
