Dodie Boy Penalosa Jr. Stops Jeffrey Jimenez in Four

By Jhonny Gonzalez

Cebu Coliseum, Cebu City - Super bantamweight prospect Dodie Boy Penalosa Jr. (5-0, 5KOs) remained unbeaten when he stopped Jeffrey Jimenez (5-9-2, 3KOs) in the fourth round. Penalosa suffered a cut above his left eye after a clash of heads in the first round, which resulted in a point deduction for Jiminez. Penalosa was hurting Jiminez with punches to the head but couldn't finish him off. In the fourth, the young prospect forgot about the head and sunk a big hook to the body that put Jiminez down in severe pain. The referee waved off the contest.
