The Nikolay Valuev Cup is over in Kemerovo, Russia. Here are some quick results from the show:

WBA #7, WBO #8 and IBF #14 light heavyweight Dmitry Sukhotskiy (17-1, 12 KOs) retained his WBO I/C title with a fifth round stoppage of former amateur star Konstantin Piternov (12-1, 4 KOs).

In the same weight class, Roman Simakov (16-1-1, 8 KOs) won an entertaining twelve-rounder against Kenyan Douglas Otieno (22-6, 11 KOs) unanimously to capture a vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council belt.

Russian featherweight Vyacheslav Gusev (18-2, 5 KOs) is the new WBO Europe featherweight champion following his three-round destruction of overwhelmed Paraguayan Feliciano Dario Azuaga Ledesma (80-21-2, 65 KOs).

Cruiserweight contender Grigory Drozd (33-1, 23 KOs) successfully came back to the ring after a year and a half off the ring winning against Lithuanian Remigijus Ziausys (13-34-1, 7 KOs) over eight on points.

Also, Maks Limonov (15-0, 8 KOs) outpointed Vasily Andriyanov (8-25, 1 KO) also over eight. Andriyanov has never been stopped in his career.
