Dmitry Pirog (20-0, 15 KOs), a former WBO middleweight champion of the world, is still not finished with his stagnating career. He gave a few tips about his possible future to Kubsport.ru. Pirog has been unable to overcome a reoccurring back injury.

的値l surely let you know officially if I知 finished with the sport. Right now I知 still recovering from a traumatic injury. I知 working diligently with a renowned specialist, whopreviously worked with Kostya Tszyu and Yevgeniy Kafelnikov (top Russian tennis player of the 90痴). If I recover and if I知 able to sustain those workloads and endure this physical pressure then I値l definitely have another fight. I think I値l fight next in the States; I知 aiming at the HBO date. Negotiations are under way now, said Pirog.

Dmitry Pirog, 33,first cameto stardom in July 2010, having stopped highly touted American prospect Daniel Jacobs in five rounds to capture a vacant WBO middleweight title. He has defended it thrice butvacated it due to the consequences of boxing politics. He was last seen in the ring two years ago, struggling to come back since then due to a chain of injuries.

His upper body movement should be gone anyway with a ruined back.
A fighter suffers from 'shotness' from too much wear 'n tear in the ring, from sparring too much and from age, not inactivity.
I just want to see him back and where he stands... i loved his upper body movement... you don't see that in an Eastern euro fighter
He'll be at least 34 years old when he comes back. He's going to be shot as fuck with a 2 year layoff.
A fighter suffers from 'shotness' from too much wear 'n tear in the ring, from sparring too much and from age, not inactivity.
