Dmitry Bivol continues to build a buzz after halting Cedric Agnew in four rounds this past Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on the Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev pay-per-view undercard. Agnew had previously gone seven rounds with Kovalev.

His manager, Vadim Kornilov tells BoxingScene.com - "He just had three fights in a row in the first half of the year here in 2017 so I think he'll take a little bit of time off here for the summer. We're going ot see how things play out with with WBA because as far as we understand after this fight he was going to be mandatory for the 'regular champion' who is (Nathan) Cleverly. So we're going to see how that plays out."

Back on April 14th, as Bivol (11-0, 9KO's) blasted out Samuel Clarkson in four rounds as the headliner on 'ShoBox' he retained the WBA interim-world title at 175 for the second time since winning it from Felix Valera last May.

Bivol was also in action back in February, when he blasted out Robert Berridge in four rounds.

"There's a lot of interest from TV on Bivol, everybody likes him, everybody is talking about him and we're going to plan something interesting for him in the fall," Kornilov said.
