Dimitrenko vs Pulev Bout Has Tentative Date of March 31
By Per Ake Persson
As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Sauerland Event was the sole bidder at Monday's purse bids in Rome for the ordered fight between ex-champ Alexander Dimitrenko (32-1, 21KOs) and unbeaten Kubrat Pulev (15-0, 7KOs). The EBU ordered both boxers to battle for their vacant heavyweight title.
Sauerland has not set a tentative fight date of March 31. It's still not clear if the fight will actually happen, but it doesn't look good with Universum's absence on Monday. Dimitrenko has been with Universum for his entire career, but now the two parties are involved in a contractual dispute. He held the EBU belt until November of last year when he was forced to give up the title due to an injury.
Fuk! Why can't Dimitrenko back out like the b1tch he is so we can get Boytsov vs Pulev. No one wants to see Sasha hug on Kubrat for 12 rounds.Post a Comment/View More User Comments (1)
