Dierry Jean, Hank Lundy in Talks For September Clash

By Luke Furman

According to RDS, Dierry Jean (26-1, 18KOs) and Hank Lundy (25-3-1, 12KOs) could face each other in September in Montreal in a WBC lightweight eliminator. There have been negotiations between Eye of the Tiger management, who handle Jean, and Lundy's camp. The WBC is reportedly open to the idea of sanctioning the fight as an eliminator. The World Boxing Council's champion is Omar Figueroa, who defends his title against mandatory challenger Daniel Estrada on August 16th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
