By Ryan Burton

Undefeated super featherweight prospect Diego Magdaleno (18-0) informed BoxingScene.com that he will face Gilberto Sanchez-Leon (30-8-2) on ESPN Friday Night Fights on May 6th at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.  Magdaleno has had the date locked in for several weeks and he now officially has an opponent.  Sanchez-Leon has been in the ring with Robert Marroquin, Eloy Perez and Mario Santiago.

Magdaleno's little brother Jesse (3-0) will also appear on the card versus Jonathan Alcantara (4-3-2).

Bernabe Concepcion (28-4-1) of the Philippines takes on Juan Carlos Martinez (18-12-1) in the co-feature of the evening and Notre Dame's Mike Lee (4-0) is scheduled to also appear on the network in a 4 round bout versus Gilbert Gastelum (0-1-1).

The fight is receiving extra attention because it takes place the night before the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley mega-fight that takes place at the nearby MGM Grand.
