More information has been released on the death of Max Kellerman's younger brother, Sam Kellerman. Kellerman was a huge Boxing fan and freelance writer, his work appeared in such high circles such as ESPN and Fox Sports.

Information released by the DA prosecuting the case, stated that James "The Harlem Hammer" Butler lived up to his nickname because he killed 29 year old Sam Kellerman with a hammer. After the murder of Kellerman, Butler set Kellerman's apartment on fire. Butler has already appeared before a Judge and pleaded not guilty Friday to charges of murder and arson. Butler is being held on $1.25 million dollar bail.

Police believe that Kellerman was killed on Oct. 12. Butler had been staying the apartment since September and the two were said to be good friends. A status hearing on the case is scheduled for Oct. 28.
