British heavyweight Dereck Chisora traveled to the Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool to watch the David Price vs. Sam Sexton BBBoC title showdown. Chisora, wearing a BoxNation t-shirt, was ejected by security. Price-Sexton is being televised by Sky Sports.
In recent weeks, there has been a minor war of words between Chisora's promoter, Frank Warren, and Price's promoter Frank Maloney.
Maloney does not agree with Warren's decision to stage the July 14th event in Upton Park with Chisora facing David Haye in the main event. The British Boxing Board of Control is attempting to stop Chisora-Haye, because neither boxer is licensed by their organization.
Warren is using a foreign organization to sanction the card. Maloney is standing by the BBBoC and believes the two British heavyweights should be further punished for their violent press conference brawl in Munich back in February.
Editor's Note: There are now reports, although not confirmed by Team Chisora, that Chisora was allowed to stay in the venue once he put on a jacket to block the BoxNation shirt.
