Deontay Wilder To Return on Porter-Brook Undercard

By Luke Furman

While waiting for his mandatory title shot at WBC champion Bermane Stiverne, undefeated puncher Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31KOs) will take part in a stay busy fight on August 16th as part of the Shawn Porter-Kell Brook undercard at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The bout between Wilder and Stiverne is likely taking place on a date in November or December.

Also added to the card is former champion Jorge Linares (36-3, 23KOs), who will also stay busy as he prepares for a lightweight title shot beforeth end of the year.

British boxers will invade the arena, as previously reported, with lightweight Luke Campbell and super middleweight Callum Smith making the American debuts.

I don't care if wilder is fighting until he fights someone worth watching. Watching him KO a no hoper fight after fight is not interesting in any way.
