Deontay Wilder Knocks Damon Reed Out in Two Rounds

Before a crowd of 3,500 fans at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (17-0, 17KOs) knocked out Damon Reed (46-16) in two rounds. After winning the first round, Wilder and Reed were trading punches at the start of the second. Wilder caught Reed against the ropes and landed multiple combinations, including a combo with both hands that put Reed down for the count.
I really like Wilder but it is definitely time to take a step up, if for nothing else so he can get more time on television so he can build up a stronger following.Comment by Thurman on 06-19-2011
