Denver Cuello's Return Pushed To Sept. 22 in Mexico

By Miguel Rivera

According to Canelo Promotions, Denver Cuello (31-4-6, 21KOs) will defend his WBC silver minimumweight title on September 22nd in Mexico. The orginal plan was to have Cuello appear on the Saul Alvarez-Josesito Lopez undercard on September 15 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but that plan didn't work out.

The venue and the opponent will soon be announced. Televisa will broadcast the fight.
