No Immediate Comeback for Lebedev, Fights Next in 2015

Denis Lebedev (26-2, 20 KOs), the World Boxing Association’s cruiserweight champion, planned to be very active after spending one-and-a-half years out of the ring. Lebedev was reportedly hoping for another fight on the November 28th card, headlined by Ruslan Provodnikov, just two months since his smashing second round TKO over previously undefeated Pole Pawel Kolodziej (33-1, 18 KOs). However, now it appears that his next fight will come no earlier than in 2015.
“We’ve indeed scheduled a fight for Denis on November 28”, said Andrey Ryabinskiy, the director of the “World of Boxing” promotional company, to TASS. “But now we are going to move it to the spring of 2015 under the evident desire of the boxer”.
