Denis Boytsov vs Matthew Greer in Play For Sep. 24
By Alexey Sukachev
According to a few sources in Universum Box-Promotion, highly-regarded but unlucky Russian heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov (28-0, 23 KOs) will finally be back n the ring on September 24 against American journeyman Matthew “Gator” Greer (14-6, 13 KOs). The contest will be held in Hamburg, Germany.
WBA/WBC #6 and IBF/WBO #7 ranked Boytsov, 25, was last seen in the ring in November on 2010 against Mike Sheppard. He fought just once in 21 months and was sidelined for a long time due to severe hand injuries. Greer is best known as a knockout victim to Kevin Johnson and James Toney.
Boytsov is the real deal as long as his hands hold up.....He can beat anyone in the top ten save the KO brothers. Look forward to his comeback.....!Comment by joe strong on 09-03-2011
