Last week, Sauerland Event won the purse bid for the WBA 'regular' super welterweight title fight between champion Jack Culcay and mandatory challenger Demetrius Andrade, which means this fight will land somewhere in Germany.

The minimum bid was $150,000, with 75 percent going to the champion and 25 percent going to the challenger.

Sauerland Event, who promote Culcay, offered up $425,144.00 - while Banner Promotions, who handle Andrade, dropped $201,000.00.

According to Artie Pelullo - the head of Banner Promotions - his client, Andrade, has no problems getting out his passport.

"We're going to Germany for the fight. This is a fight we want, he can win his second world title. Don Majeski represented Sauerland, they won the bid. It's a very amicable relationship, there's no issues. So we're going to Germany," said the promoter to BoxingScene.com.

The dates being discussed for this match-up are October 22nd, 29th or November 5th.

And Pelullo says there is a chance that Showtime could be beaming this fight back to the States.

"We're going to be having discussions with Stephen Espinoza about it. It'll be an afternoon fight so there may be a possibility Showtime could be interested," the promoter explained.

Andrade (23-0, 16KOs) finally returned to the ring back in June after a layoff since last October. He dominated and stopped tough contender Willie Nelson in the twelfth round in his Showtime televised debut from the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. Nelson was down four times in the fight before it was waved off.

Culcay (22-1, 11KOs) retained his title last December with a dominant twelve round decision win over Dennis Hogan. He came back to action in April, and stopped once-beaten Jean Carlos Prada in nine round of action. Culcay's sole defeat came at the hands of Guido Pitto by way of split decision in 2013. Cuclay avenged that loss in the same year with a twelve round unanimous decision.
