Demetrius Andrade Demolishes Toro Hernandez in Two
Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut - Hot junior middleweight prospect Demetrius Andrade (16-0, 11KOs) demolished overmatched late-substitution Angel Hernandez (30-12, 17KOs) in two easy rounds. Hernandez was knocked down in the round, and then a shot to the head and body finished him off as referee Steve Smoger quickly waved it off.
Raymond Serrano (18-0, 8KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over a tough Kenny Abril (11-5-1, 6KOs). The scores were 97-92, 95-94 and 97-92. The bout was fought at a catch-weight of 144-pounds. After Serrano controlled the two first rounds, Abril scored a knockdown in the third round when Serrano left himself wide open. Abril remained in the fight, but he was outboxed down the stretch.
The Andrade fight wasn't just a mismatch but also a public execution for Hernandez.Post a Comment - View More User Comments (1)
