Del Valle Focused To Perform at Top Level With Martin

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com recently spoke to undefeated super bantamweight prospect Orlando Del Valle (15-0) who faces Christopher Martin (23-1-3) later tonight on Showtime's latest installment of their ShoBox series.

The Puerto Rican fighter said that his training camp went well and that he is looking forward to putting on a great fight for the fans.

"Training camp was great. We are ready to go. We are ready to go out and give the fans what they deserve."

Del Valle told BoxingScene that he is happy to be making another appearance on Shobox. In addition to his fight, Thomas Oosthuizen (18-0) faces Marcus Johnson (23-1) in the main event while Jose Pedraza (7-0) opens the broadcast versus Gil Garcia (5-1-1). Del Valle is confident that we will see a lot more of him on the premium network.

"I'm very happy and thankful to be back on Showtime and I'm going to make sure its not the last time. Its Showtime baby. Everybody tune in and watch the fight in Friday," Del Valle said.

Both fighters have Berraza as a common opponent and Martin is coming of a draw vs. Kennedy it should be interesting boxing match...

Martin will probably never learn that he can't let guys work on him and fight in spots and expect to win a fight... He has world class skills, but doesn't have concentration and focus I suppose. I don't see anything…
