Del Valle Expects a March or April Return on Showtime

By Rey Colon

Promising super bantamweight contender Orlando Luis Del Valle (15-0, 11 KO's) will return to the ring in March or April in a Showtime televised fight. Del Valle fought on January 21, winning an eight unanimous decision over Mexico's Jose Angel Beranza, a well traveled veteran of the ring.

"He is a veteran of some 60 fights. He was very strong and was in tremendous condition. But we were ready. Now we hope that in late 2012 or early 2013, we'll receive a big opportunity at 122 pounds. We understand that we need a couple of fights to continue grinding my style," he added.
