| DeGale’s Return Still Not Set, Warren Eyes Bigger Fight
By Terence Dooley Frank Warren Promotions are still working on James DeGale’s next fight despite Liverpool’s Echo Arena revealing that the mooted January 27th date set aside for DeGale and an undercard featuring the likes of Joe Selkirk and the Smith brothers is no longer in play. Jose Maria Guerrero was set to challenge for DeGale’s WBO Inter-Continental title at the same venue on December 9th only for the event to be pushed back, with the Arena itself announcing the new show details on its website. Warren, though, has stated that the date was never officially announced via their office and that they are working on a bigger fight and title for DeGale early in the New Year. The move leaves Selkirk, Billy Joe Saunders, Stephen and Liam Smith sweating on a new time and venue for their next fights. Saunders boxed at the York Hall earlier this month, a stoppage of Tommy Tolan, Selkirk and the Smiths will be crossing their fingers in the hope that their new fight dates come through soon. [QUOTE=knockoutkid]Yes Ive watched basically all of DeGales best fights and Wilczewski nearly finished him off and it was very fortunate he had home advantage to get that decision. In that fight did you not see him on the ropes getting smashed? or did you see him double jabing slipping and slidin... |

[QUOTE=knockoutkid]Franks gone bankrupt, we know this, DeGale will get smashed to bits when he fights decent oposition, he cant move his feet, against the likes of Dirrell he will get out boxed, and a good pressure fighter like Abraham would retire him inside 6 rounds. DeGale cant fight off the b... |
