DeGale vs Sanavia Undercard: Nielsen, Zam Zam, More

On April 21st in Frederikshavn, Denmark, Patrick Nielsen (13-0, 7 KOs) faces Gaston Vega (17-4, 6 KOs) in a middleweight bout and 2008 Olympic gold medal winner and current European super middleweight champion James DeGale (11-1, 8 KOs) puts his title on the line against Christian Sanavia (45-5-1 with 13 KOs).

Promoter Sauerland event has announced three other bouts featuring Nordic for the undercard: Danish light middleweight Reda Zam Zam (24-1, 11 KOs) will continue his comeback. In December, Zam Zam clinched a first-round KO over Aliaksei Volchan following a lay-off of more than four years. He will take on Bronislav Kubin (12-8-1, 7 KOs) from the Czech Republic.... Denmark's Torben Keller (2-0) will  take on Belarusian veteran Aliaksandr Abramenka (17-29-1, 6 KOs) in a ight middleweight bout...

Norwegian featherweight hopeful Andreas Evensen (15-2-1, 6 KOs) will meet Willie Casey (13-1, 9 KOs). The 26-year-old was originally slated to face Tomas Villa, but the Mexican pulled out and was replaced by “Big Bang” Casey, a former European champion at 122 pounds... Swedish light heavyweight Erik Skoglund (8-0, 4 KOs) will return to action, facing Italy's Alberto Antenucci (3-3). Tickets are available at www.arenanord.dk .
