EBU super middleweight champion James DeGale (11-1, 8KOs) is not going to fight this coming Friday. Promoter Frank Warren has postponed the entire show, set for the Echo Arena in Liverpool, to January 27th. DeGale was going to face Spaniard Jose Maria Guerrero on the card. DeGale was scheduled to headline the show after career rival George Groves, the current British/Commonwealth champion at 168, recently injured his hand and withdrew from the card.
DeGale vs Guerrero is Postponed To January 27th Date
I won't be subscribing to BoxNation anyway; the way they removed the online subsription option was diabolical; zero notice given whatsoever. Customer service is awful. Shame, as fights are great.Comment by dantheman1983 on 12-06-2011
