DeGale vs Groves Bout is Still in Limbo, No Date Yet

By Rick Reeno

The anticipated super middleweight collision between undefeated British prospects, James DeGale (9-0, 7KOs) and George Groves (11-0, 9KOs), is still without a set televised date. Back on February 9, Dave Coldwell, head of boxing for Hayemaker Promotions, won the scheduled purse bid with a whopping entry of £400,000 pounds. Groves is the mandatory challenger to DeGale's BBBofC British title.

Coldwell was considering the potential date of April 9th on Sky Sports, but promoter Frank Maloney has now secured that date for the ring return of Rendell Munroe. DeGale-Groves has to take place by the end of April. Groves has a fight scheduled on Saturday in Yorkshire against Daniel Adotey Allotey.

It´s not gonnna happen anyway. ducker Booth wants no part of that fight because he knows bum Groves would get annihilated. they just made the bid to undermine the fight. DeGale should move on and fight Sartison
