DeGale vs George Will To Be Announced Tomorrow?

The long wait for confirmation of the time and date for James DeGale versus George Groves may finally be over as the details of the contest are expected to be announced tomorrow by Frank Warren, along with news of the WBO 175lb fight between Juergen Braehmer and Nathan Cleverly.  David Coldwell won the purse bids for the DeGale-Groves fight and has been working with Warren with an eye to staging the contest on a Warren-promoted show.  Both fighters have talked the fight up in recent weeks, both have posted wins over nondescript opposition as they ready themselves for the clash, it now seems that we will finally find out where and when the British blockbuster will take place.

This particular fight's genesis has been long, varied and full of speculation over whether the showdown will actually take happen.  Warren and Coldwell, it would seem, have now managed to work out the details, much to the delight of British boxing fans, who feared that they may never get to see the country's two premier prospects face-to-face in the ring.
