| Deandre Latimore To Join Mayweather's Camp on 8/15
By Ryan Burton Boxingscene has been advised that former junior middleweight title challenger Deandre Latimore will join Floyd Mayweather's camp on August 15th as a sparring partner. Mayweather is preparing for his September 17th showdown with WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz. Latimore, who is a southpaw like Ortiz, flew into Las Vegas on Monday to get ready for the saparring sessions. Former champion Kassim Ouma is also in Mayweather's camp and already sparring with undefeated superstar. Attempts to reach Latimore were unsuccessful but sources close to the fighter said that the St. Louis native is excited to get the chance to spar with Mayweather and called it "an honor to work with him." Floyd isn't looking for sparring partners, he's looking for a dance partner for his next career with "Dancing with the Stars" when he loses to Ortiz. Maybe he can go back WWE, we heard they needed a good stooge to wrestle with. |

When is Ortiz going to start sparing? I know he just completed a triathlon but that is not ring work? Ortiz needs to work on his defense and jab. I hope he is taking this match serious. |

Khan is not impressed. He'll wait to see how Floyd performs on fight night before REALLY calling him out. |
