David Tua Interested in Securing Mariusz Wach Clash

According to promoter Mariusz Kolodziej of Global Boxing Promotions, heavyweight veteran David Tua (52-4-2, 43 KOs) in interested in securing a bout with Polish giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15 KOs). The fight between the two may take place in August, most likely in New Zealand.

Currently Wach is suspended by July by German Boxing Commission for using illegal drugs which were detected after his fight against heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko last year. 40-year old Tua has been inactive since August of 2011, when he suffered an unanimous decision loss in a rematch bout against Monte Barrett.

nowadays all the HWs are above 6'4 so wach being a big & slow target it is a good opponent to see what he has left. wach can be hit & he will tower over tua. if he can't beat…
