Promoter Mariusz Kolodziej of Global Boxing, who handles Mariusz Wach (30-1, 16 KOs), has been approached about the possibility of matching his man against Olympic bronze medalist David Price (19-2, 16 KOs) on a date of June 6th.

Wach and his promoter are interested in the fight. It's an interesting matchup of two very tall heavyweights. Price has won four fights in a row since losing back to back bouts to Tony Thompson in 2013. Wach lost a twelve round decision to unified heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko in 2012. He returned last year after a near two-year layoff and has already racked up three wins.

Mariusz at this time is ranked by the WBC in the 28th position. Price is only slightly better under the WBC, with a ranking of #24. Price is however ranked better in organizations, with WBA #15, IBF #9, WBO #11.
