Former world cruiserweight and heavyweight champion David Haye is to hold a press conference on Tuesday (November 24) to confirm his comeback to the ring.

Haye, who turned 35 last month, has not fought since July 2012 after knocking out fellow Brit Dereck Chisora in five rounds to settle their grudge which began with an unsavoury brawl in Munich, Germany five months earlier.

The press conference will be held at London’s O2 Arena, a venue where Haye has fought twice before, at 10am on Tuesday morning to announce his return to boxing, possibly in January, and who will he be fighting.

Haye, via a video posted on Twitter, announced on the social media platform earlier this week that he will be trained by Shane McGuigan who is best known for guiding Carl Frampton to IBF world super bantamweight title glory. The son to former world featherweight champion Barry also trains Conrad Cummings, Anthony Cacace, Josh Pritchard and Josh Taylor.
