WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is sick of people calling Wladimir Klitschko a "good guy." Haye will attempt to take Klitschko's WBO/IBO/IBF titles on July 2 in Hamburg. It took two years of negotiations to make their fight possible. Both Klitschko brothers have blamed Haye for the long delays in finalizing an agreement, but the British champion is firing back and places the complete blame on Klitschko and his team.
"For some crazy reason people think that Wlad is some type of gentleman in boxing. The truth is that he is a ruthless two-faced businessman. It's been two hard years of negotiating to make this fight happen... and he seems to be getting all the credit. I'm not really that bothered, but he is not the hero that some people think he is. I have made all of the concessions and done everything that has been asked of me. I made this fight happen. On the night, there will only be one boxer prepared to back up his words with action," Haye told Steve Bunce of the Daily and Sunday Mirror.
