Danny Williams To Get a Crack at Prospect Goncharov

By Ruslan Chikov

Russian promoter and known manager Vladimir Hryunov is planning to make a fight between his 26-year-old prospect Vladimir Goncharov (1-0, 0KO) and British veteran Danny Williams (44-12, 33KOs). Hryunov thinks very highly of Goncharov, who recently made his pro debut. Hryunov likes to match his heavyweight prospects tough. He made heavyweight Sergey Rozhnov (1-0) make his pro debut in February against experienced pro Owen Beck (29-9 at the time). Rozhnov won a four round decision.

The sad thing is he'll be a massive underdog. Ive said it before and ill say it again. Danny williams cant walk away from boxing and it'll end his life.
