BoxingScene.com has been informed that British heavyweight Danny Williams (44-11, 33KOs), the Brixton Bomber, who retired - again - late last year after a stoppage loss to Lef Larsen - will now return for a final farewell fight.

Williams will fight 44-year-old Hungarian veteran Zoltan Petranyi (47-20, 14KOs) on June 10th at the Ramada Hotel in Budapest with the UBO European title at stake.

Petranyi´s company ProfiBox Promotion is also the promoter of the event that was on for last year as well, but the fight was cancelled when Williams pulled out due to personal reasons.

Petranyi has been around for a long time and he's done it all - fighting, promoting, booking, working the corners......you name it. Working with Laszlo Pazsterko in Slovakia, he´s been all over Europe taking on all comers, often on short notice, while winning at home where he holds the national title as well as the EBU Euro strap.
