With his ninth round stoppage of Shun Kubo in Kyoto, Japan on Sunday, Danny Roman captured the WBA super "regular" bantamweight title. So what's next for the sports newest belt-holder?

"It was funny because the moment the fight ended we got three offers already to fight elsewhere. And if it doesn't work in America, I'll take him anywhere. We'll go around the world until we have to come back. I'll talk to the guys down there and see if they're interested."

Camponovo is referring to television executives in America. But for the time being Roman (23-2-1, 9 KO's) will fight and defend his title wherever he can.

"It doesn't matter where we go,"continued Camponovo, who developed Roman on cards held at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California, where they have had a monthly series since 2001.

"He can be a lot of the guys, I can take him to China in December, I can bring him back here (Japan) to fight (Tomoki) Kameda  in December. There's two guys over here that want to fight him, there's a guy in China that we can fight. We'll go around the block, it doesn't matter."

Thompson Boxing will be producing a broadcast of the Roman-Kubo fight this week for the Stateside audience  in hoping to gain the attention of the power brokers in the sport that determine who get television slots on the major networks.

"I don't know how far it is going to take us but we've got to do it somewhere," he explained, while still in Japan on Sunday. "With the results that we had I know we're going to reach at leas a couple hundred thousand people and we're going to raise the eyebrows of a few guys. So we'll see what happens."
