Danny Green: Did Tarver Have "Extra Magic" With Me?

Australian cruiserweight star Danny Green is now questioning last July's TKO defeat to Antonio Tarver. Green admits he was shocked when Friday it was revealed that Tarver had tested positive for the anabolic steroid drostanalone in a pre-fight urine test before his IBO title defense against Lateef Kayode on June 2. The California State Athletic Commission has suspended Tarver.

"It's pretty ordinary," Green said to Telegraph Sport. "There were definitely whispers when Antonio was out here that he may be using something, but when you're that close to a fight, you can't worry about stuff like that. You get on with the job.

"I've only just heard the news myself, so what can I say? Do I really need to say anything? Certainly I didn't have a great night against him, but I now have to wonder if he had a bit of extra magic."

"When Antonio came out here for the promo tour he was huge. Massive. I've still got photos of him standing next to NSW Origin players like Timmy Mannah and Greg Bird. He made them look small. Then eight weeks later he comes back for the fight and weighs in light. I couldn't believe it."

hahaha i was waiting for this clown to open his trap, why doesnt anyone ask him about the potion he was drinkin in the Flores fight or his hand wraps or how he offers fighters more money to come in…

I knew there was a reason why Danny "once you beat a legend you become a legend" Green got beat...i thought he got voodoo'ed spelled on or something.
