Danny Green: Tarver Can Be Broken, I'll Break Him!

By Edward Chaykovsky

IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green has promised to break former champion Antonio Tarver on Wednesday night at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Australia. Green is angry with the comments that were made by Tarver's trainer, Jimmy Williams, who said the Australian boxer has primitive skills. Green has watched tapes of Tarver and doesn't feel any intimidation from the experienced boxer.

''I'll prove my will is greater. Antonio Tarver is the kind of guy who can be broken. I can break him. I can break this so-called advantage of skill with my intent and I will break him. I've seen him beaten. He's fought very good fighters, yes, but he's been beaten. He has that attitude. I don't like to be beaten. I've come back, I've lost and come back, but Tarver has proven he can be a beaten man," Green told the Sydney Morning Herald.
