Daniel Jacobs Returns on Alvarez vs Hatton Undercard

By Lem Satterfield

Middleweight contender Daniel Jacobs of Brooklyn will return to the ring against an opponent to be determined on the March 5, HBO televised card featuring 20-year-old WBC silver belt titlist Saul Alvarez against Matthew Hatton, Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker Eric Gomez confirms.

The 23-year-old Jacobs returned last month with a fifth-round knockout of Jesse Orta at the Pepsi Colesium in Quebec City, Canada., which improved his record to 21-1, with his 18th knockout. Jacobs is rebounding from last July's fifth-round knockout loss to Dmitry Pirog (17-0, 14 KOs) of Russia.
Maybe a rematch with pirog down the road
that would be great but this boy needs some finetuning or he's going to get sparked out again in a similar fashion
