Mexico's Daniel Evangelista and Shoky Sakai of Japan are ready for action on Friday at the Deportivo Tlalli of Tlalnepantla. Hector Garcia of HG Boxing promotes the show. Super featherweight Daniel "Explosive" Evangelista (8-0, 7KOs) looks to raise his perfect record in the professional ranks by blasting away Ricardo Cardona (5-4-1,3 KO's) in a fight scheduled for six rounds. He is trained by his father, Daniel Evangelista Sr., and "Diablito" Antonio Velasco.
Japan's Shoky "Shayayin" Sakai has proven to be a true samurai in the ring and plans to continue his pro campaign in Mexico, where he already amassed six wins, four of them by knockout, in exchange for a single loss. He will face Raul Hinojosa over six rounds in the lightweight division.
The headline fight will see Rodolfo "Fofo" Hernandez defend his NABO and WBC Latino Continental Americas belts at 122 pounds against Josimar Olivares, in a fight scheduled for ten rounds.
