According to the legal adviser of IBF super flyweight champion Liborio Solis, a deal is basically wrapped up for a year-end unification with WBA champion Daiki Kameda. The fight is going to take place on December 3rd in Kameda's home country of Japan. Solis (15-3-1, 7 KOs) vs. Kameda (28-3, 18 KOs) will be the first IBF/WBA unification in Japan. Kameda won the title in September with a twelve round decision win over Rodrigo Guerrero, while Solis solidified himself as the WBA champion with a majority decision win over Kohei Kono in May, and that match took place in Japan with both fighters getting decked in the twelve round bout.
