On Saturday, August 15, IBF #1 and TBRB #7 rated heavyweight Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov (21-0-1, 13 KOs) scored a stoppage win over little relevant journeyman Kertson Manswell (24-12, 18 KOs) of Trinidad and Tobago in four rounds. Ukrainian Glazkov is being kept busy while waiting for his shot at the world heavyweight champion and his compatriot Wladimir Klitshko.
“Vyacheslav is in good shape. He has worked with a new coach, added some new tricks to his arsenal and started to use them in official match-ups. It’s clearly seen in his latest performances”, said Nikolay Baklanov, a vice-president of Pushka Promotions, which co-promotes Glazkov alongside Main Events.
“The fight was easy work for him – just as it had been expected before. I have no info regarding his next possible opponents. Many of them are fighting in the coming weeks, and Slava’s plans will depend on the results of their fights. But it is very possible he will fight again this year”, added Baklanov in his interview with R-Sport.
