Former champion Steve Cunningham is really looking forward to Wladimir Klitschko scheduled defense of the WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight titles against mandatory challenger Tyson Fury on October 24th in Germany.

Cunningham has been in camp with both fighters, and faced Fury  in the ring on April 20th of 2013 at The Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. He dropped Fury (24-0, 18KOs) in the second round, but saw himself get knocked out in the seventh.

On paper Fury is a big underdog, but not that big of an underdog in the eyes of Cunningham.

"Yeah I give anybody a chance with that determination and drive and hard work that Fury puts in. I won’t call the fight because I’ve been in camp with both of them, I fought Fury. I know they both work hard and I know they’re both determined," Cunningham said to On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"Wladimir is a veteran, long standing champ. Fury is the up coming young guy that wants to be champ bad and he works hard at it. It’s gonna be an interesting fight. Wladimir is good at fighting bigger guys, and Fury can box from the outside and he can rough you up on the inside. I think it’s gonna be an interesting fight."
