Top Rank CEO Bob Arum expects a large crowd of boxing fans to invade the Las Vegas strip for the Terence Crawford-Viktor Postol unification bout that takes place on July 23rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The fight wil be distributed by HBO pay-per-view.
Will Postol be the toughest test of career? Why did you decide to take such a dangerous fight?
POSTOL - "What differentiates Crawford from many other fighters are his skills and technical attributes. From a mental aspect he is a very clever boxer, always using his mind in the ring, changing stances, all the time adapting to different types of opponents. He has shown this in his previous fights. But that does not mean he is the best I have fought."
WBO super lightweight champion Terence Crawford (28-0, 20KOs) appeared to be in tremendous shape in a photo he posted on Instagram over the weekend. He faces fellow unbeaten champion Viktor Postol (28-0, 12KOs), who holds the WBC belt, on July 23rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bout will headline a HBO distributed pay-per-view card.

"I'm not worried if I am being avoided by anyone as long as I get to fight the best out there. In this business if you don't fight you don't eat. And the fans are smart enough to know a good fight. They are not about to settle for anything less. Why should they? They work hard for their money too. So if other fighters want to go hungry because they are looking for easy fights, that's their business. But that's not for me.
Fired up and undefeated super lightweight world champions, “The Iceman” VIKTOR POSTOL - who holds the WBC title - and TERENCE “Bud” CRAWFORD - who holds the WBO - will strike an illuminating unification match, to determine who`s the King of the Castle.

"The fight with Matthysse was my most challenging because it was my first world championship fight and I was fighting for the title against one of the strongest punchers in the division. The importance of this fight for my career and my life was not lost on me. It was all I thought about during training camp at Wild Card. It's all I ever wanted since I started boxing in a gym outside Kiev as a 12-year-old boy. I followed Freddie's game plan from beginning to end.
