Coyne vs Springs is Set Down For April 29 in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS - Undefeated WBC USNBC Cruiserweight Champion Ryan "The Irish Outlaw" Coyne returns to the ring to defend his title at the beautiful Roberts Orpheum Theatre in downtown St. Louis, MO on April 29th, 2011.

Ryan, the #8 ranked Cruiserweight by the WBA and Don King Productions' top prospect, is looking to keep his perfect record intact (16-0) as he makes a step up in competition versus the former National Golden Gloves champion Ravea Springs (28-3 and undefeated since 2003) of Cincinnati, OH.  Ryan, a veteran of Season 4 of The Contender reality TV show, is coming off a second round KO last October and is looking to continue his win streak versus the former WBC World Title Challenger.

Coyne said, "Ravea Springs is a tough customer who's been at the top of the mountain.  He's proven himself at the highest level of the game and fought for the cruiserweight championship of the world.  He has a great jab and he's a slick boxer that's in supreme shape.  Unfortunately for him, everything that he does, I do. But I do it better."
