Tommy Coyle and John Wayne Hibbert will meet in a crossroads clash next month.

The super-lightweight duo, who will go into the fight on the back of a defeat each, are set to do battle for a title to be confirmed, exclusively live on Sky Sports.

Boxing Scene had previously reported that the clash was agreed and the only stumbling block was that a date was awaited.

However, in a catch-up with Coyle’s manager Steve Wood on Tuesday, ‘Scene was told that the showdown now has a date and a venue.

Coyle (22-4, 10 KOs) was last in the ring in July when he dropped a decision to British champion Tyrone Nurse in Leeds.

He’ll come up against Hibbert (17-4, 11 KOs), who was beaten by Andrea Scarpa in a challenge for the vacant WBC Silver belt at 140 pounds back in June, on November 26 at SSE Arena, Wembley, London.

The fight was confirmed by promoter Eddie Hearn on Thursday and the Matchroom chief also outlined a few other clashes that will take place on the bill.

Ohara Davies (13-0, 11 KOs) will challenge the aforementioned Italian Scarpa (20-2, 10 KOs) for that fringe WBC belt and there will be a first defence of the British super-featherweight title by Martin J Ward (15-0-2, 8 KOs).

Reece Bellotti (7-0, 6 KOs) will face Ian Bailey (13-19-1, 5 KOs) in an eliminator for the English featherweight title, while there is action for Conor Benn (5-0, 3 KOs), Craig Richards (6-0, 2 KOs) and Jake Ball (7-0, 6 KOs).

Meanwhile, Ted Cheeseman (6-0, 5 KOs) is being lined up for his first 10-round contest, either for a title or an eliminator of some sort, and Felix Cash (3-0, 2 KOs) will return alongside Danny Dignum, who will make his professional debut.

Tickets are priced £40, £60, £100 and £150 (VIP) and further information will be revealed in due course.
