MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Matt Korobov (14-0, 9KOs) demolished Michael Walker (19-7-2, 12KOs) with a single counter hook in the first round of a middleweight fight. Walker barely made it to his feet. Referee Joe Cortez quickly waved it off as Walker stumbled into the ropes.

In a super bantamweight contest, Jesus Rojas (17-1, 12KOs)won a six round unanimous decision over Isaac Hidalgo (8-7-2, 1KOs). The scores were 59-55, 58-56 and 59-55. Rojas, now trained by Emanuel Steward, outworked and outboxed Hidalgo.

Mexican-American heavyweight prospect Eric Molina (17-1, 13KOs), who recently signed with promoter Don King, stopped Joseph Robotte (9-16-1, 3KOs) in the sixth and final round of their fight.

After a lackluster first round, Molina caught up with Robotte and dropped him in the second. Robotte went into survival mode the rest of the way. Molina caught him again in the fifth round to score a knockdown near the end. In the sixth, Molina chased him down and started landing enough hard to punches to make referee Kenny Bayless jump in to call it.

Rising lightweight prospect Juan Gonzalez (11-0, 10KOs) destroyed Jeremy McLaurin (8-2 5KOs) in the first round. Gonzalez landed a series of hard punches to send McLaurin down against the ropes and finished him off with another series of punches to to close it out.

Now we know why Chavez Jr never fought Wolak even though it had been discussed more than once...

WOLAK!! WOLAK!! Yuri gave up in his corner. Pawel will finally get the shot at the title he deserves. You gotta love his style, kind of reminds you of Frazier. Congrats!!!!!!
