Cotto-Martinez Winner Will Get Next-Gen WBC Title

WBC President, Mauricio Sulaimán has revealed the much anticipated new generation of the iconic WBC green and gold belt.
This version has the picture of beloved, admired and eternal President Jose Sulaiman, as a heartfelt homage proposed by the WBC Board of Governors on February 11th. A sincere thank you and everlasting gratitude to the man who changed the face of boxing. 
This belt will also have the picture of the best fighter of all time in its particular division. The WBC will open a special voting where people can choose who will be on the belt.
The first belt to be presented will be at the fight for the WBC middleweight championship between current champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez and challenger Miguel Cotto,  on June 7th.
This individual belt will illustrate: Sergio Martinez, Miguel Cotto, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Joe louis and Don Jose Sulaiman.

Most likely not. Martinez has taken punches from bigger guys like Pavlik and Chavez. If he took their punches, he should be able to take Cotto's.

I glanced at the title and I thought it was suggesting that the winner will fight Gennady Golovkin next for the WBC title. You can imagine my disappointment when I saw what it was really about.
